Director cum actor Raghava lawrence is busy with his horror sequel Muni 3 tentatively titled Ganga. The film will have Tapsee as the lady lead and music is by Anirudh. In Muni - 2 - Kanchana Raghava lawrence came in 3 get ups and now in Muni 3 he is all set to come in 6 different get ups.

The film is produced by Bellamgonda suresh under Sri Sai Ganesh banner. It was Ragava lawrence who made the concept of horrow with comedy a hit with his earlier 2 versions and we are sure that he will set an record with Muni 3 too.

Yuvan’s 100 sold

he music rights of Venkat Prabhu’s Biriyani have been acquired by Sony Music India. This Karthi-Hansika starrer is Yuvan Shankar Raja’s hundredth musical.
 

The film also has Venkat Prabhu’s brother Premgi, as usual, and Ramki in vital characters. Shakthi Saravanan is behind the lens and editors Praveen and Srikanth are working on the film too. The teaser of Biriyani is expected to release   on 25^th May, Karthi’s birthday.

Here’s the latest about Shankar’s ‘I’. We hear that its lead star, Vikram, who has been losing and gaining weight for his role, will play a bodybuilder in some of the sequences. While national bodybuilding champion from Tamil Nadu, M Kamaraj, will be playing the villain in the film, city-based former Mr India M Arasu will play a judge.
A source says, “Vikram has been working hard on his character and has been losing and gaining weight. Currently, he’s in New Zealand for the project.” The source adds, “One of the sequences in the film has some bodybuilding elements and so, the team had roped in some of the leading bodybuilders in the city for that.”
Interestingly, in one of his recent films, Rajapattai, Vikram played a bodybuilder who’s an aspiring actor who wants to be a villain in films.

Anirudh changes his mind for Vijay

After being presented with the opportunity to score for the next Vijay-A.R.Murugadoss movie, young music director Anirudh says that it is indeed a prestigious project that’s being offered to him and is aware of the expectations. He is yet to sign the dotted line but first level meetings indicate that the young man will be the choice of the team.

This latest development coupled with the existing projects in hand has prompted Anirudh to back out of his debut film as the hero. The film, supposedly titled, Naanum Rowdydan was set to be directed by Vignesh Shiva of Poda Podi fame featuring Anirudh in the lead but now the composer says that acting will need to take the backseat. In his upcoming release Vanakkam Chennai, he will be teaming up with Hip Hop Tamizha Adhi once again and also a host of other new rappers and the album, according to Anirudh, is his best work yet.

Suriya’s Singam 2 to release soon?

The much awaited sequel of Hari’s Singam is likely to release soon. It is being speculated that Singam 2 will hit the big screens on June 14th. However, an official confirmation from the producers hasn’t yet come our way.

The film travels from the southern parts of Tamil Nadu to South Africa. It is being touted that Singam 2 has more action and a stunning story that can keep anyone glued to their seats.

Featuring Suriya, Anushka, Hansika, Vivekh, Santhanam and Manorama, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Priyan.
